A hybrid of black passionfruit to make the fruit look more vigorous and tropical. They are burgundy to red in colour and have a thick, slightly wrinkled, soft skin. The pulp is yellow with many brown or black seeds. It is extremely sweet in flavour with a mild acidic taste.
